The 2016 Buddha Rashmi Vesak Zone of Hunupitiya Gangarama was ceremonially declared open by His Excellency the President Maithreepala Sirisena and the Prime Minister Hon. Ranil Wickramasinghe at the temple premises on the Vesak Poya Day (21).
