Navy apprehends 6 local fishermen engaged in illegal fishing
 

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Walagamba located in Kuchchaweli in the Eastern Naval Command arrested 6 local fishermen with a Fiber Glass Dingy and a Monofilament Net while fishing illegally in the seas off Kuchchaweli yesterday (7). The arrested persons along with the boat were produced to the Kuchchaweli Police for onward action.
