A group of naval personnel attached to SLNS Uththara in Kankesanthurai, SLNS Kanchadewa in Kytes and SLNS Welusumana in Mandativu managed to seize 30 kg of Kerala Cannabis during raids carried out at two separate locations in Chavakachcheri.

Going by the directives of Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne, a three-day Tennis coaching camp was organized with a view to improving the sporting skills of the members of the naval families.
