Navy Sports Club recorded another comprehensive victory over CR & FC Sports Club in a first round game of Dialog Rugby League 2016/17 held at Welisara Navy Grounds this evening (13). Accordingly, the navy won the game by 21 points to 13 points; scoring 3 tries and 3 conversions.

The main ceremony to commemorate fallen war heroes who paid the supreme sacrifice was held at the Vihara Maha Devi Park today (13).

Two hundred and ninety seven naval recruits belonging to the 227th regular intake of the Sri Lanka Navy passed out at SLNS Shiksha in Poonewa on 12th November 2016.
