Sri Lanka Navy assisted the Sri Lanka Coast Guard to arrest 11 Indian fishermen along with 2 Indian fishing trawlers, poaching in Sri Lankan waters North West of Delft Island this evening (19).

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Buwaneka located in Nachchikuda in the North Central Naval Command arrested a local fisherman who engaged in illegal fishing activities using a monofilament net in the coastal area of Mundampiddi yesterday (18).
