The foreign delegates who are attending the Galle Dialogue - 2016 in Colombo, called on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne to express their thanks for the Sri Lanka Navy's flag ship event, the Galle Dialogue, which has attracted many maritime experts and strategists around the world for exchange of views and discussions which are of great importance for Fostering Strategic Maritime Partnerships among stakeholders.

The International Maritime Conference, 'Galle Dialogue 2016' organized by the Sri Lanka Navy in partnership with Ministry of Defence, commenced at the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo today (28).

On receipt of intelligence information, Naval personnel attached to SLNS Uttara located in Kankasanthurai in Northern Naval Command, in coordination with Point Pedro Police, arrested three persons for having 42 kg of Kerala Cannabis in their possession, in the general area of Valvettithurai yesterday (27).

The International Maritime Conference, “Galle Dialogue 2016”, organized by the Sri Lanka Navy partnered with the Ministry of Defence, will get underway at the Galle Face Hotel, Colombo on 28th and 29th November 2016 for the seventh consecutive year.
