A special Hindu religious ceremony was conducted at Sri Ponnambalavaneshwarar Hindu Temple at Kotahena today (1) in view of the 66th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Navy which falls on 9th December 2016.

The Chief of Naval Staff of the Indian Navy, Admiral Sunil Lanba who arrived in Sri Lanka to take part in the Galle Dialogue 2016 International Maritime Conference, paid a visit to the Eastern Naval Command yesterday (30).

The Commander of the US Pacific Command Admiral Harry B Harris who was on an official visit to Sri Lanka to attend the Galle Dialogue 2016, took time off to visit the Naval Base, Trincomalee on 29th November.
