Hailing the commendable service rendered by the naval personnel in the aftermath of severe weather outbreak tore through several parts of the island nation, the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne felicitated those naval ranks and rates involved in flood relief operations.

On successful completion of the course for Joint Combined Exchange Training (JCET) Balance Style 2017/01, the certificate awarding ceremony for the same was held under the patronage of the Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Travis Sinniah at the Naval Institute, Naval Dockyard Trincomalee on 02nd June 2017.
