Naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command apprehended 8 persons engaged in illegal fishing activities using unauthorized fishing nets in the waters off Elizabath Island, Trincomalee yesterday (June, 20).

As part of the Navy’s Community Development and Social Responsibility project, the Northern Naval Command donated 100 cataract lenses to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital on 19th June 2017.
