Another beach clean-up drive of the Sri Lanka Navy, mooted in view of conservation of panoramic beaches of the island, was successfully carried out at several beaches in the Northern and Southern Naval Areas today (11^th January 2020).

The Navy and Police apprehended a person with a T 56 assault rifle, while conducting a search at Kurinjinagar in Valaichchenai on 10^th January 2020.
