As a measure of controlling the spreading of new coronavirus in the country, Sri Lanka Navy conducted sterilization programmes at all 2020 railway stations from Galle to Beliatta, today (11^th May 2020).

With the termination of their courses, ten (10) SL Navy personnel who were following training courses in India, arrived to the Southern seas of Sri Lanka onboard an Indian war ship. Thereafter, SL Navy took the returning persons aboard a Fast Attack Craft and accompanied them to the Galle harbour, today (11^th May 2020).

With completion of their quarantine process another 10 persons left the quarantine centre established at Boossa Naval Base, today (11^th May 2020).

Twelve (12) other naval personnel infected with coronavirus and underwent treatment in hospitals, were discharged from the hospitals being tested negative to COVID-19, in the evening on 09^th May and on 10^th May 2020.

The Navy removed branches and debris collected at the underside of Wakwella Bridge in Galle and made its free flow of water, as prior preparation of averting a possible threat of flooding, on 10^th May 2020.
