SL Navy recovered a banned fishing net in a dinghy at Seenamweli beach in Trincomalee, during a search carried out on 10^th June 2020.

Another fourteen (14) naval personnel infected with coronavirus and underwent treatment in hospital, were discharged from the hospital being tested negative to COVID-19, on 10^th June 2020.

Six (06) inmates who were undergoing quarantine period in Naval quarantine center at Kalpitiya area, left the center after completion of their quarantine process, on 10^th June 2020.

The ‘Hadawathe Handa’ social care foundation and the association of ‘Sathya Gaweshakayo’ donated a stock of face masks to the Navy, in support of the Navy’s efforts to control the spread of new coronavirus. Accordingly, this donation was made at the Naval Headquarters on 10^th June 2020.
