The 983rd Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant built as part of the Naval Social Responsibility Project was declared open for community use at Thuparamaya in Anuradhapura. The opening was held under the patronage of the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera today (18th October 2023).

The Indian Naval Ship (INS) ‘Airavat’ arrived at the port of Colombo on a formal visit this morning (18th October 2023). The visiting ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval traditions.
