The diploma awarding of Navy and Air Force nursing students from 2021 and 2022 intakes of Naval Nurses’ Training School, SLNS Thakshila, affiliated to General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), was held at the auditorium of University Hospital KDU, Werahera on 04th September 2024.

The Sri Lanka Navy took a significant step forward in modernizing its printing operations by introducing a cutting-edge digital printing platform. The launch of digital printing operations took place on 05th September 2024 at the Naval Printing Unit, with Director General Training, Rear Admiral Buddhika Liyanagamage, in attendance.
