The 34th International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) meeting took place between the Indian and Sri Lanka Navies aboard SLNS Vijayabahu. This meeting occurred at the Indo-Sri Lanka Maritime Boundary Line, situated north of Kankesanthurai on 06th November 2024.

At the invitation of the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) visited the Sri Lanka Navy Headquarters today (06th November 2024). During this visit, he engaged in a cordial discussion with the Commander of the Navy and toured key facilities, including the Maritime Rescue Coordinating Centre (MRCC) Colombo and the Information Fusion Centre (IFC). He later addressed a representative group of officers and sailors, marking an important engagement with the naval leadership and personnel.
