Commander of the Navy pays obeisance to Mahanayake Thero of Ramanna Maha Nikaya

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda visited the Minioluwa Sri Vidyawasa Piriven Maha Viharaya, Mirigama and paid his obeisance to the Chief Prelate of Sri Lanka Ramanna Maha Nikaya, Aggamaha Panditha Most Venerable Makulewe Sri Wimala Nayaka Thero today (26 Jan 25).

On this occasion the Most Venerable Mahanayaka Thero delivered a brief ‘Anushasana’ wishing strength for the successful execution of Navy’s future endeavours and invoked blessings on the Commander of the Navy and all naval personnel.

The President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Anusha Banagoda, Director General Health Services and the President of Naval Buddhist Association, Rear Admiral Janaka Marambe, Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Chandima Silva and a group of senior officers were present on this occasion.
