As part of the Naval Social Responsibility (NSR) project, a medical grade Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant, designed for the Dialysis Unit at Anamaduwa Base Hospital, was declared open on 01 Feb 25. The project was set in motion following the initiatives of the Ministry of Health.

The Indonesian Naval Ship KRI BUNG TOMO – 357 which arrived in Sri Lanka on 31 Jan 25 for replenishment, departed the island today (01 Feb). The Sri Lanka Navy bade customary farewell to the departing ship at the Port of Colombo, following naval traditions.

The Pakistan Naval Ship (PNS) ASLAT arrived at the Port of Colombo on a formal visit this morning (01 Feb 25). The visiting ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval traditions.
