PNS ASLAT departs island concluding her formal visit
The Pakistan Naval Ship (PNS) ASLAT which arrived in Sri Lanka on a formal visit on 01 Feb 25, departed the island today (04 Feb). The Sri Lanka Navy bade customary farewell to the departing ship at the Port of Colombo, following naval traditions.
Meanwhile, the Commanding Officer of the ship, Captain MUHAMMAD AZHAR AKRAM called on the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Chandima Silva at the Western Naval Command Headquarters. During the stay in Colombo, crew members of the ship visited some tourist attractions within the city limits.
In addition, personnel of the Sri Lanka Navy had the opportunity to visit PNS ASLAT and participated in briefings on the operational functions of the ship.
