RO plant at Parasangaswewa, Anuradhapura declared open for community use

The Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant, built as part of the Naval Social Responsibility (NSR) Project by the Navy's Research and Development Unit was declared open at Nigrodharama Viharaya in Parasangaswewa, Anuradhapura today (16 Feb 25). The project, carried out with industrial expertise of the Research and Development Unit, was funded by the Sirasa Gammadda CSR initiative. Also, the facility marked the 1080th unit delivered under the NSR Project.

This RO plant has a daily purification capacity of about 10000 liters, providing safe drinking water to the people in the locality of Parasangaswewa.

A group of representatives from Sirasa Gammadda CSR initiative and naval personnel were present on the occasion.
