Delegation from 54th Pakistan Navy Staff Course visits Navy Headquarters
A delegation from 54th Pakistan Navy Staff Course of Pakistan Navy War College, currently in Sri Lanka on their foreign study tour from 18 to 23 Feb, visited the Navy Headquarters in Colombo today (19 Feb 25). During the visit, the head of delegation Commodore Ahsen Ali Khan along with a group of senior officers called on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda.
The visiting delegation consisted of 18 student officers and 03 Directing Staff members from 54th Pakistan Navy Staff Course. The ensuing discussion between the Commander of the Navy and delegation members focused on several matters centered on training and the meeting drew to a close with an exchange of mementoes.
Meanwhile, the Commander of the Navy took time off to provide the visiting delegation with an overview of the Sri Lanka Navy's roles and responsibilities. Director General Operations, Rear Admiral Buddhika Liyanagamage, Director General Training, Rear Admiral Dhammika Wijewardena and a group of senior officers from the Navy Headquarters were also present on this occasion.
