RO plant in the village of Digannewa declared open for community use

A Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant, built as part of the Naval Social Responsibility (NSR) Project by the Navy's Research and Development Unit was declared open at the village of Digannewa in Kotawehera, Kurunegala on 22 Feb 25. The project, carried out with industrial expertise of the Research and Development Unit, marked the 1082nd unit delivered under the NSR Project.

This RO plant has a daily purification capacity of about 10000 liters, providing safe drinking water to the people in the locality of Digannewa.
