North Central Naval Command unveils holiday resort to enhance welfare facilities

In a significant step to bolster welfare facilities for naval personnel, a building converted into a holiday resort was inaugurated at SLNS Gajaba on 21 Mar 25, under the auspices of Commander North Central Naval Area.

The Sri Lanka Navy has repurposed an administrative building at SLNS Gajaba into the holiday resort, leveraging its industrial expertise and workforce. Meanwhile, the construction on the project began on 13 Mar 25.

Following the directives of the Commander of the Navy and under the supervision of Commander North Central Naval Area, the construction work was carried out by the Command Civil Engineering Department.
