The Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF) BUNGO and ETAJIMA arrived at the port of Colombo on a goodwill visit this morning (01 Apr 25). The visiting ships were welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval traditions.

In a concerted effort to combat the spread of dengue fever, the Sri Lanka Navy extended its support to the National Dengue Control Programme, held from 27 to 29 Mar 25 in Trincomalee.

The initiative was launched as part of the nationwide programme aimed at fostering an educational atmosphere that upholds national values, incorporates social ethics, and prioritizes environmental sustainability, centered on the theme "A School Full of Happiness.”
