The 10th Fast Attack Craft (FAC) Course in Irregular Warfare, conducted by the 4th Fast Attack Flotilla (FAF4), concluded on a successful note in Trincomalee, marking another milestone in the training calendar of FAF4. The certificate awarding ceremony, held at the FAF4 Headquarters, was presided over by the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet.
The six-week training programme was designed to prepare 25 young officers for conducting operations and manoeuvring FACs, particularly in littoral waters. The course also deepened their understanding of FAC tactics in such scenarios, leveraging 30 years of authentic combat expertise from FAF4.
On completion of the certificate awarding, the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet extended best wishes to the group of officers who successfully completed the training programme. Commanding Officer FAF4 along with a group of officers were also present on this occasion.
