Navy’s commitment to community: Technical College, Pathadumbara gets fresh look under Clean Sri Lanka

The Navy extended its support to improve the learning environment at the Technical College, Pathadumbara, from 22 Jul to 06 Aug, under the “Shrama Meheyum” initiative of the Clean Sri Lanka national programme.

As a key partner of the “Clean Sri Lanka” national initiative, the Sri Lanka Navy plays an active role, lending its strong community support to a range of impactful programmes under the project.

Creating a conducive learning environment at the Technical College in Pathadumbara was part of the “Shrama Meheyum” initiative, which seeks to enhance educational environments at institutions under the purview of the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education.

The recent refurbishment initiative, overseen by the Western Naval Command's SLNS Shilpa, included repairs and fresh coats of paint for the lecture halls and buildings at the Technical College.
