Thirteen (13) persons who engaged in illegal fishing were apprehended by Navy during patrols carried out in the seas off Walaithottam and Kumburuppidi areas in Trincomalee, on 01^st and 02^nd June 2020.

Another four (04) naval personnel infected with coronavirus and underwent treatment in hospitals, were discharged from the hospitals being tested negative to COVID-19, on 1^st June 2020.

Eight (08) inmates who were undergoing quarantine period in Naval quarantine centers at Boossa Naval Base and at Kalpitiya area, left the centers after completion of their quarantine process, on 01^st and 02^nd June 2020.

Sri Lanka Navy during a joint operation conducted with the Police, apprehended a person with tablets of illegal drug, at Poduwakattu area in Trincomalee, on 01^st June 2020.

A person with a haul of cannabis, was apprehend during an operation carried out by Navy in coordination with Police STF, at Hulannuge area in Ampara on 01^st June 2020.

Another eight (08) naval personnel infected with coronavirus and underwent treatment in hospitals, were discharged from the hospitals being tested negative to COVID-19, on 31^st May 2020.

With completion of their quarantine process another 14 persons left the quarantine center established at Boossa Naval Base, today (01^st June 2020).

The Indian Naval Ship (INS) Jalashwa arrived at the port of Colombo this morning (1^st June 2020) to take 700 Indian nationals back to their motherland. Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Navy rendered assistance to this affair which took off the ground on diplomatic level.

A woman with a 12-bore shotgun was apprehended during a search operation conducted by the Navy in coordination with the Police, at Marichchukatti area in Silavaththura, on 31^st May 2020.

A beach clean-up drive of the Sri Lanka Navy, was successfully carried out in the Southern Naval Command on 30^th May 2020.
