Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne, after assumption of duties as the 24^th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, made his mark of respect to fallen naval combatants, at a wreath - laying ceremony held at the Naval War Hero Monument in Welisara today (31^th July 2020). The event has been organized to glorify the memory of naval war heroes who made supreme sacrifice during naval operations that helped eradicate terrorism from the motherland.
