Forty two (42) individuals who were undergoing quarantine process at the Naval Quarantine Centres at Boossa Naval Base and in Kalpitiya area, left those centres upon completion of their quarantine process, on 25^th and 26^th July 2020.

Two (02) Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plants established by the Navy under the Corporate Social Responsibility project, in Ampara District, were declared open for the use of people, on 24^th July 2020.

Chief of the Naval Staff of India, Admiral Karambir Singh, during a telephone conversation today (24^th July 2020), has congratulated Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne for being appointed as the 24^th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy.
