During a joint search operation conducted by the Navy and the Police in Ottamawadi area on 06^th February 2020, a person with a cache of explosive used for illegal fishing, was apprehended.

The Navy seized over 92kg of beedi leaves, during two separate patrols conducted about 120 nautical miles off the Galle Lighthouse on 05^th February 2020.
