The Navy conducted a clean up operation to remove the debris underside of Wakwella Bridge and Agaliya bridge in Galle, on 17^th October 2019.

On successfully completion of the Rapid Action Boat Squadron (RABS) ‘Q’ Course of the 24th intake, six (6) officers and forty three (43) sailors passed out at the main parade ground of RABS Headquarters at Gagewadiya, Puttalm on 17^th October 2019. The Passing out parade and insignia awarding ceremony was graced by Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, as the Chief Guest.
