The Navy, during a search carried out in the beach area of Devgala in Trincomalee on 24^th October 2019, managed to find 01 charger made using gelignite and 01 water gel stick which are commonly used in illegal fishing activities.

The newly constructed preschool at Weththakakeni area was declared open by Assistant Divisional Secretary of Wadamarachchi, Mr. P Morthy, on 23^rd October 2019.

The Katina Pinkama ceremony of Polgasduwa Hermitage in Rathgama, Galle was held with the attendance of a large number of devotees on 23rd October 2019 and it was assisted by the Southern Naval Command.
