Navy recovers a turtle kept hidden in the forest

Based on a tip off to the Navy, a troop of Naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command, recovered a live turtle kept hidden in the forest 500m South East of Gurunagar fisheries harbour, during a raid carried out yesterday (19 January).

Search and Rescue Swift Water Training Programme makes headway with further practical exercises

The Swift Water Training Programme got underway on 16th January 2019 and its practical exercises were held at the Kala Oya estuary during the last couple of days.
