In view of World Blood Donor Day, a felicitation ceremony for blood donors of their yeoman service to the world, was held under the patronage of Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine and Sri Lanka Blood Bank, at ‘Nelum Pokuna’ auditorium on 14th June 2018. The blood donors and mobile campaign organizers were felicitated in appreciation of their altruistic endeavours in blood donation.
