           Naval personnel onboard the Fast Attack Craft P 437 and CG 401 belonging to the Northern Naval Command and Sri Lanka Coast Guard respectively had found 153.1 kg of Kerala cannabis floating in the seas north of Point Pedro today (19 November 2017).

Navy apprehends 10 Indian fishermen for poaching in Sri Lankan territorial waters
 
       
               
           The Offshore Patrol Vessel SLNS Sagara, during its routine patrol in northern waters, apprehended 10 Indian fishermen along with a fishing trawler for poaching in the Sri Lankan territorial waters northeast of Point Pedro Lighthouse in the early hours of yesterday (16th November).
