The Defence Adviser to the High Commission of Australia in Sri Lanka, Colonel Amanda Johnston called on the Commander Northern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Buddhika Liyanagamage, at the Northern Naval Command Headquarters on 14 Jan 26.

In a demonstration of deepening bilateral maritime cooperation, the Indian Navy formally handed over a Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) to the Sri Lanka Navy at the Western Naval Command Headquarters on 15 Jan 26.
