Naval personnel attached to SLNS Gotabhaya located in Mullaitivu in the Eastern Naval Command arrested 19 local fishermen who engaged in illegal fishing activities using monofilament nets in the seas off Kokkuthuduwai today (2).

Two Holiday Bungalows dedicated for naval personnel wounded in action were declared open by the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne on the invitation of the President Sri Lanka Navy Seva Vanitha Unit Madam Yamuna Wijegunaratne in Diyathalawa on Saturday (30th July).
