Nineteen (19) naval personnel received houses under the Api Wenuwen Api Housing project Phase II (2015).

Sri Lanka Navy was able to minimize the environmental damage caused to the lagoon in Thaldiyawatte, Dikowita due to an oil spill that had occurred during the cleaning of a pipeline carrying oil to the Muthurajawela Oil Refinery Complex yesterday morning (31st December 2015).
