A special yoga programme was conducted at the Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake Auditorium of SLNS Parakrama on 30th September 2015 under the patronage of the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne.

Under the patronage of the Commander Northern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Piyal de Silva, two field eye clinics were conducted at Madagal and Karainagar on 24th and 25th September 2015 respectively to treat the eye patients of remote areas in the Northern Naval Area.

The Chief Hydrographer of the Sri Lanka Navy, Rear Admiral Sisira Jayakody and senior officials of the Survey Department of Sri Lanka inspected the Bench Mark (BM) Network established by the SLN Hydrographic Survey Unit in the Nothern Naval Area (NNA) on 25th Sep 2015.
