A coordinated search operation conducted by the Navy and Police in Mamunei, Jaffna in the wee hours of today (04 Jul 25) resulted in the seizure of about 71kg and 400g of Kerala cannabis.

During a search operation conducted in the sea area of Baththalangunduwa, Kalpitiya on 03 Jul 25, the Navy took hold of 91kg (wet weight) of dried ginger and 238 pairs of footwear attempted to smuggle.
