Naval troops attached to SLNS Vijayaba of the Eastern Naval Command with the coordination of Nilaweli Police on information received arrested a person whilst transferring 25 sticks of gelignite weighing 3.5 kilograms in the general area of Addukkupar in Trincomalee on 16th June 2015.

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Walagamba of the Eastern Naval Command arrested 03 persons with an FGD, 50 grams of Gelignite, 02 safety fuses, 02 non-electric detonators and a fishing net intended to be used in illegal fishing in the seas off Poduwakattu in Trincomalee on 15th June 2015.
