A Bodhi Pooja ceremony was held under the precedence of the President of NSVU, Mrs Yamuna Wijegunaratne on 4th March 2016 at Gangarama temple Hunupitiya, to invoke blessing on the son of Rear Admiral Samantha Wimalathunge, who is down with an ailment and under treatment.
