Navy wins State Services Knockout Netball Championship

The Sri Lanka Navy netball team won the State Services Knockout Netball Championship 2026, edging out the Sri Lanka Air Force team in the final held at the Jaffna University Indoor Stadium on 18 September.

The Navy team secured a 57–54 victory over the Air Force in a close-contested Category 'A' final match to claim the overall championship.

Organised by the Public Services Netball Association, the two-day tournament took place on 17 and 18 September, drawing over 50 teams representing the armed forces and prominent netball clubs across the island.
