Netherlands Ambassador meets Commander Eastern Naval Area

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Sri Lanka, H.E. Wiebe Jakob de Boer, and a delegation visited the Eastern Naval Area on 1 September 2026.

The delegation met with the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy and Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Buddhika Liyanagamage. During this meeting, the Netherlands Ambassador and Commander Eastern Naval Area held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of mementoes between the two sides, signifying the importance of the occasion.
