Pakistan Defence Adviser calls on Navy Commander
Defence Adviser to the High Commission of Pakistan in Sri Lanka, Colonel Muhammad Talha Badar, called on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Damian Fernando, at Navy Headquarters today, 12 August 2026.
During the official meeting, Colonel Badar congratulated Vice Admiral Fernando on assuming office as the 27th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy.
The two officials held discussions on matters of bilateral importance, including cooperation between the navies of Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of mementoes between the two sides.
