The Navy Canoe and Kayak team today (23rd March 2024) conducted a Kayak training session at Talaimannar sea. This training aimed to prepare for the upcoming Indo-Sri Lanka Annual Canoeing Sprint 2024, the first of its kind competition, with full support from the Sri Lanka Navy. The event, co-hosted by the National Association of Canoeing and Kayak Sri Lanka (NACKSL) and Indian Kayaking and Canoeing Association (IKCA), will be held on 10th and 11th April 2024 from Talaimannar to Dhanushkodi, India.

The 18th National Wushu Championship was held at the National Youth Center Maharagama from 10th to 13th March 2024. In a remarkable display of skill and determination, the Navy men’s and women’s teams emerged victorious in the Wushu Championship.

The inter - command women's six-a-side softball tournament was held at the cricket ground Welisara on 10th and 11th February 2024. The championship title of the tournament was clinched by the Southern Naval Command. The final of the tournament was graced by the Chairman Sri Lanka Navy Cricket Committee, Rear Admiral Damian Fernando.

The Inter-command Badminton Championship - 2024 was held at the Commander Parakrama Samaraweera Memorial Indoor Sports Complex in Welisara from 05th to 09th March 2024. The prize awarding ceremony held on 09th March was graced by Director General Budget and Finance, Rear Admiral Manjula Dissanayake.

The Sri Lanka Navy showcased its cycling prowess in Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya – 2024, held from 03rd to 08th March under five stages. The event, supervised by the Sri Lanka Cycling Federation, witnessed intense competition among participants.

The Navy women ruggerites on 03rd March 2024 won the championship of Zahira Rugby Centenary 7s, held at the Race Course Ground.

The Navy bodybuilders bagged several medals in the Colombo Fitness Festival 2024, held at Havelock Park on 02nd March 2024.

The Navy women's Kabaddi team won the championship in a Kabaddi tournament held at the Mahaweli ground, Thambuththegama on 24th February 2024. In the meantime, the men's Kabaddi team of the Navy also secured third place in the tournament.

The Navy Inter-Command Volleyball Championship – 2024, held from 18th to 22nd February, concluded with thrilling matches at SLNS Tissa. The Eastern Naval Command emerged as the champion in the men's category and in the women's category, the Western Naval Command displayed its dominance.

The Sri Lanka Navy became the overall champions in Nippon Women’s Rugby League 2023/24, 10-a-side tournament, held from 08th December 2023 to 18th February 2024.
